As an ISO 9000 and AIB certified
company, Quality Assurance is the single most important facet of our
production process. We aim to be unsurpassed in quality, and over the
years we have built up an impressive methodology to realize our goal.
All extruded rolls are automatically recorded in a computerized QA
system that lets us track every roll back to the original manufacturing
date, resin batch, and operator. Each roll is checked for thickness,
gloss, haze, stiffness, and friction.
In assuring the finest print quality possible, our ink laydown is
checked through a computerized ink dispensing system and the dry weight
is continuously measured. Color shades are checked both visually and
with an X-Rite Spectrophotometer, and odor testing is done on a regular
basis.
In addition, a state of the art PrintVision/Jupiter defect detection
system allows us to actively monitor print quality by taking continuous
snapshots of the web. The images are compared to a master image and any
defects are recorded while the operator is alerted.
All these efforts are made to reassure that our films have nothing but
an appealing effect on your product and brand.
