Our latest twist wrap is UltraWrap. Designed specifically to compete with cellophane where other materials have failed in the past, UltraWrap is a 5-layer cast modified, high-crystalline polyethylene based film. UltraWrap is almost a decade in the making, and is a proprietary material. UltraWrap has excellent stiffness, twist and dead fold properties, and features high clarity and gloss.

UltraWrap is available in clear, printed, metallized and stripe metallized in the following grades:

bullet TWN250 - yield: 25,000 sq in/lbs or 28 gr/m2
bullet TWN225 - yield: 22,500 sq in/lbs or 31 gr/m2
bullet TWN195 - yield: 19,500 sq in/lbs or 36 gr/m2

Cast polypropylene is the most cost-effective way to piece wrap hard candies or cough drops. Twist Wrap runs on the majority of twist machines with few or no modifications, and replaces cellophane and PVC.

Twist Wrap is available in 1.0, 1.2, and 1.4 mil thicknesses.

The material can be clear, tinted, white, or metallized. Stripe metallization, a process that applies aluminum to select parts of the web, is also available.

Paper Ex is a product of Multifilm’s solid commitment to continuous innovation of new packaging solutions. Paper Ex uses a proprietary extrusion process that combines CPP and calcium carbonate to create a unique material that looks and feels like paper but has the superior properties of plastic. Calcium carbonate is an abundant product with steady prices, making Paper Ex more resistant to price changes due to fluctuations in raw material costs.

Paper Ex is a superior alternative to wax paper, and is ideal for wrapping sticky hard candy, such as cough drops. Unlike wax paper, Paper Ex provides barrier protection to keep the product fresh longer, cuts easier, and will not create a build up in twist machines which necessitates costly shut downs. Paper Ex will not wrinkle as easily as paper, resists tearing, and has a superior shine. In short, Paper Ex will make your product look, feel and taste better than wax paper, at a comparable cost.

Paper Ex can be printed in up to six colors.
