(pronounced high-zee) is a revolutionary new metallized sealant web
that
is aimed at
replacing expensive metallized triplex materials without
sacrificing barrier, optics or performance.Hi-Z is available in 1.0 mil, 1.2 mil, 1.6 mil, and 2.0 mil thicknesses, can be laminated to OPP or PET and reverse printed for excellent gloss. It can also be laminated to a surface printed paper as a replacement for PPFP laminates in applications where the absolute barrier of foil is too expensive or simply not necessary.
Hi-Z is suitable for stand up pouches with or without zippers, VFFS and HFFS applications for dry foods, confections, nut packaging, fractional pack coffee, and many more.
